Tips for ✨beautiful✨ morning prep pictures:
🖤Try to choose somewhere light, spacious and airy as your prep hq.
🖤 Keep a part of your prep space as a clear and clutter free zone. I get it, a group all getting ready together comes with a whole host of accoutrements. Ideally we want a good amount of space free from wires, bits of breakfast and the odd stray bra to be able to capture beautiful images.
🖤I LOVE a first look during prep. Whether it’s with a family member, with your partner or with your ‘best people’ for the day, let’s plan this into your timeline in advance so we can make sure everyone is dressed and ready.
🖤I always think it’s super romantic when partners send each other notes or letters to be read while you’re getting ready.
🖤 Plan to be dressed and ready with plenty of spare time before you need to leave. Plan with your HMUA and make sure you’re not the last in the queue. You don’t want to be in a rush, give yourself the time to take photos and be in the moment with your nearest and dearest.
🖤Set aside your jewellery, perfume, shoes, flowers, spare invites or love notes to each other. All these bits make lovely flat lay images.
🖤This last ones the biggie and I’d say it’s the most important advice I have for any couple. ✨YOU ARE THE VIBE✨.
Don’t let the day overwhelm you or carry you away. Take it slow, breath it in and be the vibe you want. If you want everything to be gorgeously serene then emanate that. If you want the party, you have to be the life and soul. Everyone around you will mirror your energy without even thinking about it because they love you and they want you to have the most amazing time. Don’t worry about what anyone else thinks you should be doing to ‘be the bride’, think about the energy you need to feel your best and plan outwards from there.
