Land & Sea, at Space to Breathe, is an exhibition set within the spectacular Bowhouse, Fife BOWHOUSE. In collaboration with , it brings together outstanding contemporary artists who explore photography, landscape, and ecology.

I’m showing ’Something About Mary’, a cyanotype dress created over ten years ago to celebrate the life of Miss Mary Craven (1812-1889)
My ‘Stocking’ series uses worn, laddered stockings to create intimate cyanotype photograms. Fragile fabric becomes both skin and scar, hovering between body and absence, speaking of intimacy, loss, and the complexities of feminine experience.

Open Wednesdays to Sundays 10am - 5pm.

Exciting news! My dress is travelling to Bowhouse, St Monans, Fife, Scotland. The Space To Breathe Art Exhibition opens next Saturday, 15th August. There are lots of events, including artist talks and workshops. And I will be running a cyanotype workshop on the 22nd August. Details are on their website. Hope to see you there!

I've been a member of Axisweb for over 20 years. They are an independent charity supporting contemporary visual artists. It has been wonderful to watch the organisation not only grow, but also to see that they really care about the Arts and their artists. They support artists through funding, visibility, connection and practical help. I just want to say thank you!

Angela explores themes of memory, gender and identity with reference to historical social structures of women.
