The aurora borealis between 1am and 2am…I was green with envy having missed seeing it the first time and second time earlier in the year when they were visible near me down south, that second time I was travelling up to Scotland. I thought I’d missed them again last night, I’d been out for dinner, came back to see lots of stunning photos, I could faintly see them but not vibrantly. I read that they would be visible from 10pm to 2am and thought I’d have one quick last look before bed! The whole sky had a faint purpley hue to the eye and so quickly grabbed a tripod, the stars looked amazing 🫶🏼
