Happy first birthday beautiful Allanah!

We celebrated in style today with a birthday celebration photoshoot! You looked amazing in my sequin romper and I am so honoured to see you crawl for the very first time!!! Can’t believe how many firsts I manage to catch on camera, I’m so honoured. I think little ones get excited to be photographed and like to pull a new skill out of the bag.

I watch women transform in this studio.

Not into someone new. Into who they already are. The mother emerging through the woman, slowly, quietly, in front of my lens.

This is where my art lives. In light that finds the most beautiful curves. In tones and textures built for her and her alone. In setups you will not find anywhere else, because they did not exist before she walked in.

I am the artist in the room. But never in a way that stifles. My work is to create the space where a woman can soften, breathe, and become exactly what she really is.

And I couldn’t resist the image where she is staring into dad’s eyes. 🥰🥰🥰
