🦜🌸 DAY vs NIGHT … ANNABEL’S HAS DONE IT AGAIN!! 🌸🦜

A celebration of the English countryside in bloom has arrived in Mayfair! Annabel’s latest summer installation has transformed Berkeley Square with a spectacular floral display.

The façade showcases 120 bespoke blooms, crafted from 397 individually shaped petals and realised through more than 2,000 hours of collaborative work by skilled artisans, designers, and specialist makers.

The installation represents a significant milestone as the 30th façade created for Annabel’s to date!

🦜🌸 I AM IN ABSOLUTE AWE! What do you think? 🌸🦜

🏳️‍🌈🌈 Free to Love, free to be you 🌈🏳️‍🌈

Acceptance starts with an open heart and grows when we celebrate each other exactly as we are.

🏳️‍🌈🌈 Here’s my story... 🌈🏳️‍🌈

Growing up, I spent my teenage years in an area that was around 95% white and 75% devout Christian. At an all-boys grammar school, I was called every derogatory name imaginable before I even understood who I was. Other people had already decided I was different.

For years, I never felt safe, at peace, or allowed to be myself. I carried guilt that wasn’t mine to carry and shame that wasn’t mine to own. I hid parts of myself to make others comfortable, while quietly hating myself in the process.

That feeling stayed with me for most of my life.

Then London happened.

London gave me FREEDOM! Freedom to explore who I was without fear. Freedom to love myself without apology. Freedom to stop caring what others thought about my sexuality.

For the first time, I realised I wasn’t the problem.

The happiness, confidence and peace that followed changed my life.

Strangely, I am grateful for the struggles too. Not because they were right, but because surviving them taught me to trust myself, love myself, and never surrender to fear.

But not everyone makes it through those dark moments.

That’s why Pride still matters.

Even now, after moving back to Wiltshire, where only around 4% of the population identifies as LGBTQ+, I’m reminded that visibility matters. Community matters. Acceptance matters.
I hope one day we live in a world where people stop using someone else’s identity as a reason to spread hate. Until then, Pride remains both a celebration and a reminder of how far we still have to go.

🏳️‍🌈🌈 Be proud of who you are. The world has enough copies. It only gets one of you. Happy Pride 🌈🏳️‍🌈

🇬🇧❤️ As I close one chapter and begin another, I find myself reflecting on the last five years and feeling nothing but immense gratitude for a city that has given me so much ❤️🇬🇧

What an extraordinary place to have called home.
For five years, I had the privilege of experiencing this incredible city through every season. From crisp winter mornings and vibrant spring blooms to long summer evenings and golden autumn walks, London became more than just a place I lived, it became part of who I am.

What makes this chapter even more special is that without London, I may never have discovered my true love for photography. What started as a simple Instagram journey slowly grew into something I could never have imagined. Through this city, I found creativity, confidence, inspiration, and a community that changed my life.

I have been fortunate enough to experience things that once felt completely beyond reach: press trips, luxury hotel stays, unforgettable fine dining experiences, collaborations with incredible brands, and even the surreal honour of having my photographs published in a book!!! None of these opportunities were things I ever expected, planned for, or sought out when I first began sharing photos online. Yet somehow, they became part of my story!

Every opportunity, every friendship, every walk through its streets, every sunrise, every sunset, and every photograph captured along the way has shaped me in ways I will forever be thankful for.

London, thank you for providing some of the very best years of my life. Thank you for the memories, the adventures, the lessons, the opportunities, and the endless inspiration.

While a new chapter has now begun, this is certainly not goodbye. Photography remains a huge part of my life, and I have no intention of putting down my camera or stepping away from social media anytime soon.

And one day … hopefully sooner rather than later … I cannot wait to officially call London my permanent home once again.

🇬🇧❤️ Until then, thank you for everything. London, you’ll always have a piece of my heart ❤️🇬🇧

🌾🌸 THE FLOWER MENU - MAURO COLAGRECO 🌸🌾

Yesterday’s luncheon at One Michelin Star Mauro Colagreco at Raffles London at The OWO felt like stepping into a living botanical masterpiece. Every course from the Flower Menu unfolded with extraordinary elegance!

The Dianthus and wild sea bass tartare, lifted with Yorkshire spring honey vinaigrette, was impossibly refined; the Wasabi Flower and Cornish crab brought a vibrant interplay of sweetness, heat and citrus brightness. The Orkney scallop, cooked in its shell with pickled chamomile and green asparagus, was pure poetry on a plate.

Then came the Jasmine and English chicken … comforting yet ethereal, with leeks ragout, confit potato and the most exquisite jasmine foam. And finally, a dessert that I genuinely won’t forget, English marigold and preserved Buddha’s hand, paired with Sussex sheep’s ricotta, orange marmalade and marigold leaf ice cream.

An afternoon tasting experience where gastronomy, artistry and nature existed in perfect harmony. This genuinely has to be one of London’s most enchanting dining experiences!
