An Attempt at Astrophotography from Wednesday Night, at the Peak of the Perseids, the area that we were stood in had little by the way of Subjects as it was a Sports Field, but the sky still played ball, and it was a good experiment for me, even though I had a slightly wobbly tripod.

Back at the Chalke History Festival for the third year running!

It’s always a privilege to attend under press, and once again I thoroughly enjoyed being part of such an incredible event.

Working alongside my partner, I had the opportunity to continue building my event photography portfolio while combining it with one of my biggest passions; history. From fascinating talks to the wonderful atmosphere throughout the festival, it’s always a pleasure to capture moments from such a unique event.

One aspect of my photography that I particularly enjoy at events like this is looking beyond the standard portraits. I try to capture the micro-expressions, the genuine reactions, emotions and fleeting moments that tell the story of the event, and the people who make it so memorable.

A big thank you to everyone at the festival for another warm welcome. I’ve shared a few of my favourite photographs of the speakers below, with many more to follow over the next few days as I work through this year’s images.
