A little note for anyone enquiring about wedding photography...
I believe in being completely transparent about pricing, which is why all of my packages and prices are clearly displayed on my website. It's there to help you decide whether I'm a good fit for your wedding before you get in touch.
So when I receive enquiries asking, "How much do you charge?" it does leave me wondering if the pricing page has been missed entirely!
Likewise, every now and then someone will tell me they've been quoted half of what I charge and ask if I can match or beat it.
The honest answer is no.
Photography isn't a commodity where every photographer offers the same thing at a different price. We all have different levels of experience, different approaches, different products, and different business costs. My pricing reflects the quality of service, experience, and work that I provide.
If another photographer is a better fit for your budget, that's absolutely fine. There are plenty of talented photographers working at different price points, and it's important to find someone who suits both your vision and your budget.
What I don't do is negotiate against other photographers or enter into a race to the bottom on price.
When you book me, you're booking me for my work, my experience, my approach, and the value I bringโnot because I happened to be the cheapest option.
And that's perfectly okay.
"If my work resonates with you, fantastic. If it doesn't fit your budget, that's okay too. But my prices are my prices, and they're on the website for a reason." ๐ธ๐
