Congratulations to the happy couple, who had a very small and special wedding this afternoon at Danesfield House Hotel and Spa near Marlow.

We had a lovely stroll in the grounds, and got lucky as the rain stopped just a short while for us to enjoy the views and get lovely photos.

They chose a champagne afternoon tea for their 'Wedding breakfast'.

I was honoured to be asked to do a reading for them, and very grateful for the Belgium chocolates they kindly got me.

Here is a preview of photos from Fizzy Fest event in Marlow this weekend.
Including a Master class by Sarah Abbott (MW) talking through the regions of Italy, how the soil can make a difference in acidity and flavour.

These Prosecco's are 'premium' and if you look out for DOCG instead of DOC on the labels you know you have a much more premium bottle.

It was fascinating to have some of the producers there over the weekend, talking so passionately about their wines.

I met lots of beautiful four legged friends this afternoon too.

The idea of this event is to educate on the different regions and premium varieties.

Well done to everyone who braved the biblical downpours yesterday.

Congratulations to Joanie & Martin.

Today was a beautiful reminder that the most important things in life are love, family, friendship and being together.

Some days will stay with you, much much longer after packing the cameras away.

It was an honour to photograph such a heartfelt and meaningful celebration, surrounded by incredible people who poured so much love into making the day so special.

Thank you for your warmth, kindness and hospitality. A huge thank you to Alice, and to all the family and friends who helped bring everything together in such a short space of time. The love in the room was evident in every moment.

Sending all my love.

The venue - The Barn at The Bottle and Glass.

The Wedding vehicle - a 40 year old Citroen, called Sapphire.

Client review.
Thank you Ash for your kind feedback and 5 star Google review.

I recently worked with Kathryn as she photographed one of our IFLP workshops, a leadership programme that is far more than a classroom based experience. The brief was to capture the essence of the course, the energy in the room and the way people connect, learn and challenge themselves together.

Kathryn exceeded every expectation. The level or professionalism and the ease with which she moved around the group was brilliant to watch. She captured laughs, moments of real focus, and the genuine buzz in the room, and the results speak for themselves. We now have fantastic images that we can use across multiple areas.

She was comfortable with the group from the outset, blended in naturally and was an absolute pleasure to work with. I would recommend Kathryn to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

I’m delighted to have been invited to become an Associate Director of Opendoorz (Marlow ) group, where I have been a member for two years.

When you are self employed, you can't just rely on your website, you need to keep showing up, creating opportunities, and building the pipeline for future work. That is why we have to be so proactive and visible, (the phone doesn't ring) if you just stay and hide at home!

Having built my business from scratch nearly 15 years ago in an area I didn’t know, networking played a huge part in getting to know people & building my contacts.

I’m still a full time photographer, just stepping up within the group to support & help current members achieve their goals and ambitions, while being proactive to help the group grow further, i doff my cap to Caroline OConnor for all her hard work & support to date within the Marlow group.

Opendoorz Ltd, is Networking done differently, no walking into a big room of strangers, this has a proven formula that works for our members, we meet twice a month and there is structure & purpose, personal development & continued professional development, so it’s much much more than referrals & financials - you get a 360 holistic support too. We also have a lot of fun too, with socials and meet ups out of our meetings.

I have been able to work on my messaging, refine it, and now can stand up in a room full of people and do a presentation without feeling like I am going to vomit with nerves. If you told me that 5 years ago, I would have laughed in your face!

Not only do you get to know fellow members businesses on a deeper level you get access to over 150 other members across the other 11 groups, across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Cotswolds & Gloucestershire.

At Marlow, we have the following industry seats available:

Architect
Interior Design
Builder
Independent Financial Advisor
Estate Agent
Landscape Designer
Insurance
Videographer
Construction / developer
Graphic / brand designer
Recruitment
PR
Travel

To name a few…

So if you are serious about growing your business, are a fun person (important) 🤣 & would like an invite as my guest for our June or July guest meeting please comment below or DM me. Guest meetings are the third Thursday of each month at 3.30pm.

Photos from a public event last week for a really incredible charity, EnrichAbility, who I have been working with and supporting for nearly a year.

Founded by Sue Ryder and Leonard Cheshire in 1986, this year they are celebrating their 40th year, so this event in central Oxford (which was a little suggestion from me) for 'seated move and groove' exercise was a joy to see, and part of their 40 events over 40 days.

Having a public event means more eyes on the charity to raise awareness.

I will post a little video in the next post so you can see how seated move and groove works.

EnrichAbility, enable adults with a physical disability, across Oxfordshire to enjoy leisure, learning and social opportunities.

They provide volunteers that are matched with the members, based on similar interests - gardening, chess, travel, baking. They also provide a monthly programme of online quizzes, talks, seated move and groove exercise, which is an important for low impact safe cardio, as well as day trips, annual holidays and coffee meet ups to reduce isolation and loneliness.

The small team are working so hard on the events at present and all do such an amazing job!

Keep going over half way there now.

16 photography jobs back to back (and some evening events) over the past 10 days and just back from supporting EnrichAbility today in central Oxford, a wonderful charity, enabling adults with physical disabilities in Oxfordshire.

A wedding, 2 charity events, a soft launch, a preschool, a conference, lying on the floor photographing Mclaren cars on Friday to then photographing dogs at an event in the evening, 2 brand shoots, Headshots, attending a small wedding showcase, Actor profile photos ...

Variety is the spice of life.

Thank you in advance to my lovely understanding clients for your patience. I am working through the editing as quickly as I can.
