🌴 THE SECRET PLACE 🌴

The Secret Place will always hold a special place in my heart. ❤️

Not only is it where I celebrated my 40th birthday 🎂 but my husband absolutely spoilt me rotten, by booking us into the most amazing accommodation I have ever stayed in - Hibiscus Villa - thank you for making it so memorable. 🥰

Just round the ‘beach corner’ we were lucky enough to meet Roby and his wonderful family, who own this beautiful beach camp and café tucked away near the tip of Borneo. 🌊☀️

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness. 🤗 We had the pleasure of spending time with Roby and his sons, who made us feel completely at home. 🏡❤️

Thank you for looking after us so well, for the ice-cold beers 🍻, the delicious lunches 🍽️, and the unforgettable hospitality. 🙏✨

If you ever find yourself in Borneo, make sure you put The Secret Place on your bucket list. 📍🌴💙

Some places are beautiful because of where they are. Others are beautiful because of the people who make them feel like home. ❤️ The Secret Place is both.

Happy 40th Birthday to me!! 🎉📸

Which also means… I’ve officially spent HALF my life behind a camera 🥹❤️

For 20 years, I’ve had the absolute privilege of doing what I love most!

Telling stories …. Capturing moments, memories, people, places and stories. From food, weddings and events to travel, landscapes, products and all the beautiful in-between moments… this little camera has taken me everywhere ✨

Looking back feels incredibly nostalgic. So many early mornings, late nights, happy tears, belly laughs, road trips, celebrations and unforgettable people along the way 📷

What started as a passion somehow became my life, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful for every single person who has supported me, booked me, followed my work or simply cheered me on over the years ❤️

Thank you for being part of this journey with me, it truly means the world.

It was an absolute dream to photograph this stunning Italian-inspired garden, beautifully landscaped with olive trees, palms, bamboo and a fragrant kitchen herb garden 🌿☀️

At the heart of it all is their traditional wood-fired pizza oven, serving incredibly authentic pizzas crafted by Italian Chef Dany, inspired by his own homeland near Lake Como, Italy 🍕🔥

From the warm atmosphere to the incredible food, every corner of this space feels like a little slice of Italy tucked away for the summer 🍹✨

Getting to work with incredible chefs, and turn beautifully crafted dishes into images that make people feel something is genuinely the best part of my job.

It’s not just about making food look good, it’s about capturing texture, atmosphere, and the story behind every plate. From the first test shot to the final edit, I still get that same excitement every time.

NEW WORK!!!! ✨

Oakley Hall invited me in to photograph their brand new wedding canapé selection and wedding breakfast menu - a beautiful set designed to showcase the venue’s food offering at its absolute best.

This shoot for me was all about light, textures, and storytelling.

Highlighting crisp detail in the canapés, rich tones in the plated dishes, and that sense of occasion that makes wedding dining feel so special.

🎣🌴 Jungle fishing in Borneo…

Something I never thought I’d ever say - let alone actually DO! 🤯✨

This was my recent 40th birthday celebration trip, and WOW… what an unforgettable experience. 🥹💚

🎣🙌 A huge part of that was thanks to Julio, our incredible fishing guide. Thank you for your energy, enthusiasm, and for taking such amazing care of us throughout the adventure. You made it so special!

And of course, thank you to Eddie - our bestie and absolute legend - for suggesting this wild adventure in the first place. Best recommendation ever.

Every single day brought new challenges, different terrain, and completely different experiences 🌿☀️🌊�But I loved every second of it.

I was pushed so far out of my comfort zone, deep in the jungle, surrounded by nature, water, sunshine, and unbelievable beauty. It was exhilarating, grounding, and honestly… phenomenal. ✨🐟🌴

Truly the trip of a lifetime. ❤️

And most importantly, thank you to my hubby Chris ❤️�Thank you for organising everything and for always being such an epic husband and human. I love you.
�And apparently… I LOVE jungle fishing 😅🎣🌴
