I was in Liverpool a few weeks back to go an see my daughter in a lead role in a play at the University. As I was only there less than 48hrs, I travelled light and had my Fujifilm X100V and so a did a bit of street photography the next day to kill time to go back to the airport. It has changes so much for the better since I was a student there myself in the late 80's and early 90's. 😀

That’s a wrap on the inaugural Northern Ireland Open 2026 🏆🔥

What a weekend in Portrush. From sunshine to storms, the athletes were tested both mentally and physically, delivering an incredible standard of volleyball throughout.

It was fantastic to witness top-level competition across the very first Northern Ireland 3⭐ event on Sunday.

A huge thank you to everyone who competed — from our local athletes to those who travelled from across the UK and beyond to be part of this historic event.

A few images from yesterdays Newcomers and Superbike practice races. I was saddened to find out this afternoon when in Liverpool that one of the competitors had been involved in fatal accident and can only offer my sincerest condolences to the family of the rider and their team mates. Sometimes we take for granted that the riders accept the risks to put on this spectacle for our entertainment every year.

Thoughts and prayers for all those affected. 🙂‍↔️
