Colorado floor scraper. I love it when storms try to pull up the grass. This tornadic supercell in Colorado last May decided it was hungry and tried to eat the prairie. Not sure I've seen a storm so low to the ground before. 😄🌪️🌩️

Hey everyone, been a bit quiet the past week or so as I get my latest YouTube video ready for release, but I've managed to start going through some more photos from this year's chase. These were taken during a bit of a relaxed chase across south west Iowa just south of Ida Grove. The storms weren't too severe but that late afternoon / early evening light was gorgeous 😍

Touch and go for those of us in the far north who want to view the eclipse tonight. Probably going to stay somewhere along Hadrian's Wall and pray for breaks in the cloud.
Remember, it's not going to be the amount of cloud overhead that's the issue but how much / little there is on the horizon so remember to factor that in. 👌🏼🌞
