YOU & I, STARGAZING ✨

Nats and Simon know exactly how to throw a party. 💃🪘🍦

The day started with so much excitement as I met Nat getting ready with her brilliant squad, surrounded by cake, bubbles and all those pre-wedding butterflies. Meanwhile, Simon and his crew kicked things off in equally good style with a pre-ceremony pint at the brewery next door. 🍻

Their ceremony at Hawthbush Farm was packed with personal touches, from the incredible steel drummer welcoming everyone in as Nat walked down the aisle to a beautiful ring warming that involved all of their favourite people.

The celebrations carried on with more steel drums, dancing during the drinks reception, speeches that had everyone laughing (and tearing up), and then, after dinner, confetti, colourful smoke bomb portraits and a well-earned stop at the ice cream truck.

Then it was straight onto the dancefloor... and it stayed packed all night long. Exactly the kind of wedding I love to photograph – relaxed, full of personality and centred around having an amazing time with the people you love.

Congratulations, Nats and Simon. What a day. ❤️

WE COULD DREAM THIS NIGHT AWAY ⚡️

Bella & Tommy’s wedding felt like Brighton through and through. 🎬💛

The day started at The Grand, where Bella got ready with her mum and her best friend before we all made our way to one of the coolest ceremony venues around... the Duke of York’s Cinema.

They completely made the space their own, filling it with personalised wedding film posters, and their dog Crosby was there to steal the show. It also happened to be his birthday, so yes... everyone sang Happy Birthday to him during the ceremony 🐶🎂

Afterwards we jumped on a bus across town, stopping by the seafront and the bandstand for photos before ending up at The Garden Bar in Hove for amazing food, heartfelt speeches, live music and a dancefloor that kept going well into the evening.

A wedding that felt totally personal, properly fun and unmistakably Brighton. More of this, please. ❤️

If you’re dreaming of a wedding that feels more like your favourite dinner party than a formal event, can I introduce you to Squisito in Lewes? 🍝🍷

Amber and Jimmy celebrated there back in May and it was such a joy to photograph. Tucked away in the Needlemakers, it’s got that perfect mix of relaxed, stylish and full-of-life. Think incredible Italian food, flowing wine, candlelit tables and everyone chatting long into the evening.

And instead of a traditional wedding cake, they served tiramisu... 10/10 decision. 🤌

I absolutely love weddings that throw out the rulebook and do what feels right for them. If you’d rather treat your favourite people to an unforgettable meal than spend the day worrying about traditions, somewhere like Squisito is such a brilliant choice.

Here’s to colourful celebrations, amazing pasta, espresso-fuelled dancing and desserts that deserve their own moment. ❤️

A May wedding with wall-to-wall sunshine? Yes please. ☀️

Graham and Jessica tied the knot at the beautiful Southover Grange in Lewes before we wandered through the gardens for some just-married portraits while everyone soaked up the glorious weather. Then it was time to jump aboard a classic Routemaster bus and head back to Brighton to keep the celebrations going at GuestHouse 124.

Before the party kicked off, we snuck away for a little stroll along the beach and stopped by Brighton’s iconic bandstand. The sea was sparkling, the sun was shining, and the whole day had that relaxed feeling that makes you want to bottle it up forever.

A gorgeous couple, a vintage bus, Brighton by the sea and the kind of weather we all dream of... what a way to kick off married life. 💛

Just the two of them & a trip to Brighton ❤️

Harri & Evie decided to do things their own way and we had so much fun!

A few weeks before celebrating with all their friends and family, they headed down to Brighton to make things official with an intimate ceremony at Brighton Town Hall.

No big guest list, no pressure - just the two of them focusing on what the day was really about.

The ceremony was full of happy tears, huge smiles and that lovely feeling you get when you know you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. After a confetti shower outside the Town Hall, we headed off into The Lanes, weaving through Brighton’s colourful streets and hunting down all the fun little corners for photos.

I LOVE Brighton elopements, just you, your love and the good old British seaside 🫶 get in touch if you are planing a Brighton elopement!

Charlotte & Will are exactly the kind of couple who remind you that weddings don’t have to follow anyone else’s rules 🖤

The day kicked off at Charlotte’s home, where she got ready with her favourite people before an emotional first look with her dad ahead of walking down the aisle. There were tears, hugs and alllll the good stuff.

Then it was off to Devil’s D**e Farm, where the outdoor ceremony space was looking sooo good amongst the Sussex hills. Will was waiting for his bride, surrounded by a crowd of friends and family who were absolutely ready to celebrate.

These two absolutely nailed the personal touches. Their confetti cones were made from old recipes and mental health advice sheets- a brilliant nod to their lives and careers, with Charlotte working as a mental health nurse and Will as a chef. Thoughtful, meaningful and completely them.

After a ceremony packed with happy tears and huge grins, everyone lined up for a confetti shower back down the aisle before the party really got started.

And what a party. Will, being one of Brighton’s seriously talented chefs, had enlisted his mates to help create an incredible wedding feast. There were cool details everywhere, including perhaps the most rock ‘n’ roll wedding platter I’ve seen- ci******es and painkillers sitting proudly amongst the wedding chaos. Iconic.

We snuck away for some portraits while a few rain clouds rolled dramatically across the Downs, but Charlotte and Will couldn’t have cared less. They were too busy laughing, cuddling and soaking up every second together.

A few brilliant speeches later, I left them exactly where they belonged - surrounded by their favourite people, great food, plenty of drinks and ready to dance the night away.

So cool, completely themselves and not interested in doing anything by the book. My favourite kind of wedding 🖤

PROPOSAL AT THE SEVEN SISTERS 💍

Ryan got in touch with me all the way from Canada to help plan his proposal to Kiara while they were visiting the UK 🥹🇨🇦

They’d always wanted to see the Seven Sisters cliffs, so it felt like the perfect spot for such a big moment. With the sea breeze, those incredible views, it was so lovely to witness 💍

Afterwards we headed down to the beach for some photos while they soaked it all in together. Very cute, very emotional and very windswept in the best possible way 🌊

Rosie & Tom 🤍

A small ceremony at Brighton Town Hall surrounded by their nearest and dearest, followed by the loveliest little wander around Brighton together.

We escaped the crowds for some photos around town before they found a quiet moment in the Pavilion Gardens to read their personal vows to each other and honestly… it was such a beautiful pause in the middle of the day 🥹

After a few more photos by the sea, a very necessary Mr Whippy stop for Rosie 🍦 (pregnancy cravings always win), we headed back to the Harbour Hotel where the rest of the afternoon was spent celebrating with all their favourite people.

Proof that wedding days don’t need to be huge or complicated to feel incredibly special ✨

Connaire & Clare at Pelham House last month 🤍

One of those wedding days that just felt good from start to finish. Super intimate, zero fuss, loads of emotion and the kind of atmosphere where everyone actually slows down and soaks it all in. There were happy tears during the ceremony, hugs that lasted a little longer than usual and the sweetest speeches over dinner surrounded by their favourite people.

And instead of a big dance floor moment, Clare disappeared and came back in her Lucy & Yaks ready for board games with their guests! Iconic behaviour. Monopoly over a first dance? Absolutely here for it.
Proof yet again that wedding days don’t need to follow a blueprint to be unforgettable 🫶

Also very excited to be back in Lewes tomorrow for another wedding day ✨
