A little introduction, from the other side of the camera for once.
I’m Caitlin, the face behind Captured by Caitlin. Photographer, mum of two boys, happiest on the road (usually somewhere in the middle of nowhere), music on full volume always, with a camera in my hand, questionable footwear choices and absolutely no regard for how far I’m going. I will 100% pull over for a highland cow or roaming sheep, get unnecessarily excited about the sky and confidently lead you into a field while promising you “it’ll be worth it.”
I’m a lifestyle photographer, which for me means very little standing still and smiling at the camera. I want to know your story. I want the movement, the connection, the chaos, the belly laughs, the windswept hair and all those little in between moments that feel like you.
And that’s exactly what I wanted from my own photographs too.
I think your branding photographs show people more than just what you look like, they give people a feel for who you are, the work you create and what it might be like to work with you.
