A showcase of wildlife images taken in Hampshire's beautiful Test Valley. I have lived in the village of Overton in Hampshire since 2011.

My name is Deb Heath - I am a primary school teacher by profession but recently have been spending most of my time as an enthusiastic wildlife photographer. I love being out in the country; if you are quiet and observant, you are rewarded with the many and beautiful sights that the English countryside has to offer.

When the clocks go back, it's often an opportunity to get out before human activity moves the wildlife. I was out early this morning; it was very cold and windy so after 1 1/2 hrs I decided to go home for breakfast - typically, once I stood up, I spotted this Roe doe looking at me - she didn't stop long!

The sound of the Redwing is very distinctive - one of our winter visitors.

Yesterday I watched as this Roe doe refused to allow anyone else near her family; she chased them out of the field. The kids waited patiently for her to return.

Latst nightI I put the hedgehog food out before I went out at 7 - the bowl was empty when I got back at 10pm! I need to remember to put it out as soon as it gets dark from ow on
