Sorrento.
Scotland I love you. I really do. Sometimes though, you can be very testing. Maybe I’m just going soft.
As anyone who has seen the photographs from my previous post, we were in Glencoe. Debated whether to go in the first place as the weather was looking like it was set to change to ‘wet’ (normal) but a brief glimpse of good weather in our intended location, Lochinver, was appearing more promising. Waking up in Glencoe, with a 4 hour+ drive further north into rain for what looked like the rest of the week, we bailed out.
Don’t get me wrong, photography in bad weather can be really interesting. Camping is not! And it will be my fault. And I will be reminded all year…and next…that holiday we had in Scotland was my fault!!
With just a week of holiday , we opted for a 5 hour drive south instead of a 4 hour drive north. Diane used up data like data has never been used before and by the end of the M6, we had a flight and accommodation to Naples for 6am the next morning.
So here we are. Sorrento for a couple of days and Naples for 3.
Scotland I will forgive you but there has to be a little give and take in future. Thank you.
