Hi Folks! Here’s a late‑evening scene from the south coast of Arran — warm sandstone cliffs glowing in the last light of the day, with Pladda Isle and its lighthouse sitting quietly offshore. A calm moment from the Island of Arran. Photo: Dennis Hardley - Enjoy, T :)

Hi Folks!
Starting off a wee virtual wander through the archive with Portnahaven, down on the Rhinns of Islay. Bright flowers, calm water, and that unmistakable island stillness in this late‑summer scene. Hope it brings a bit of calm to your day. Photo: Dennis Hardley - Enjoy, T :)

Hi folks! Here’s another image of MV Iona, this time departing Castlebay in the early 1970s. This one comes from a smaller 35mm transparency, and it needed a bit more detailed editing than most.

Hi Folks! I managed to catch this scene from the north end of Kerrera — the Hutcheson Monument and Dunollie Castle lining up perfectly across the bracken‑covered landscape. A rare angle where two pieces of Oban’s history fall into the same frame. Still pleased with how this one came together.

Morning folks! Here’s one I shared last year — the MV Iona arriving at Mallaig Pier in the 1990s during her later years serving on the Mallaig–Armadale run, hull branding clear as she edged alongside. Another moment caught on film, resting now in the archive like a memory that never fades. Photo: Dennis Hardley. Enjoy, T 🙂
