A rare calm afternoon on the Isle of Skye, where the Cuillin mountains reflected perfectly in the still waters of the lochan. 💙🏔️
As I stood admiring the view, a couple of curious local sheep wandered into the frame, completing the scene perfectly. 🐑
Moments like this remind me why I keep returning to Skye – wild, peaceful, unpredictable, and always beautiful in its own unique way.

Did you know? The Callanish Stones were erected around 5,000 years ago – making them older than Stonehenge 🤔🙂

Sometimes photography is all about being in the right place at exactly the right time.

At Callanish, dark storm clouds were rolling in from one side, while on the other, the sun was beginning to break through. The wind seemed determined to chase the storm away, creating an incredible contrast of light and shadow across these ancient stones.

It was one of those special moments that lasts only a few minutes – and I was fortunate enough to arrive at exactly the right time to witness it.
