🍂Hello September 🍂

A new month, a new season and hopefully lots more beautiful beauties coming through my studio doors 🤎

August was filled with the sweetest newborns, tiny hands and feet, milestone sessions and so many beautiful memories being created.

I’m excited to see what September brings 🥰

If you’re expecting a little one this autumn, my diary is open for newborn bookings. You don’t need to know exactly when baby will arrive, we book around your due date and arrange the session once they’re here 🤎

I could tell you all day how much I love what I do, how much care goes into every session and how important it is to me that you feel comfortable when you walk into my studio…

But I think my lovely clients say it better than I ever could. 🥹🤎

From maternity, to newborn, to first birthdays and families who come back to me again and again, it honestly means so much that you choose me to capture these moments for you.

And when you take the time afterwards to leave words like these… well, that means even more. 🥹

✨✨✨ Grayson ✨✨✨

Just look at those little details 🥹🤍

Grayson is 3 years old and we captured his little hand and foot exactly as they are right now, every little crease, line and detail preserved forever.

Mum messaged me after Dad received his finished frame to tell me how happy he was with it… and that there were even a few teary eyes 🥹🥹 Honestly, hearing things like this makes what I do even more special.

They’re only this little once. Those hands and feet will grow, but this little piece of Grayson at 3 years old will stay exactly this size forever. 🤍

Thank you for trusting me to create something so precious for your family.

And a little reminder, life casting isn’t just for newborns. Older babies and children can have their hands and feet captured too. 🤍

This absolute gorgeousness came to me for her milestone session and what a beauty she is 😍

This session was meant to be a surprise for Dad’s birthday, but Mum said she just couldn’t keep the surprise after seeing how gorgeous the photos turned out 😂😍 And honestly, I don’t think I would have managed to keep them a secret either!

A little newborn safety education for all my lovely new followers 🤍

You might have seen this pose before😍 it’s called the froggy pose 🐸 and it’s one of those poses where the finished image doesn’t show you the whole story.

Baby is never balancing like this unsupported 😮

The froggy pose is created as a composite image. Baby is supported at all times while I photograph the different parts needed, and those photographs are then carefully combined during editing to create the finished image you see.

Baby’s little hands are never expected to support the weight of their head 🤍

And just as importantly, not every baby will do the froggy pose and that’s absolutely okay. I never force a baby into a pose for the sake of getting a particular photograph. Every newborn session is baby-led and I work with what each individual baby is comfortable with.

So while you swipe through these gorgeous little froggies 🐸🥹 know that there’s a lot more happening behind each finished photograph than you can see😍

Beautiful images, always. But baby’s safety and comfort come first. 🤍
