Today we said our final goodbye to my mum 💔

The letters to heaven postbox is such a lovely idea. It really helped Emily to write down the things she wanted to say.

I l be taking the next few days off but will be back to work on Saturday.

Firstly, I just want to say a huge thank you to all the lovely people that have reached out and sent me such caring messages and checked in with me often.
It meant a lot to me and really made a difference in my darkest moments 💞

To the clients whose sessions I had to rearrange and to clients who are still waiting for their galleries, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for being so understanding and giving me the time and space I needed to get myself together. I will be making a start on outstanding galleries this week so they will be with you soon, but thank you for your patience 💖

Currently, the turnaround time for preview galleries is 2–3 weeks. I will be in touch if, for any reason, it will be any longer than that.

I will be closing my diary shortly for any future bookings, so if you wanted to book in with me and haven't done so yet, here is your reminder to do it sooner rather than later.

ALL bookings require a deposit payment to secure your session. If no deposit payment is received, I will have no option other than to cancel your booking.

I'm beyond heartbroken and devastated to say that my mum has now joined my dad in heaven, 3 years to the day that we lost him.

Some of her last words were that she wasn't scared, that she was happy to see my dad again. And that brings me so much peace and comfort in this extremely sad time.
She was such a fighter, right until the end. The nurses and doctors saw her stubborn side, that's for sure! But now she is at peace and no longer struggling and in pain. And I was there to hold her hand on her final journey.

I will forever be so grateful that I had such an amazing mum. She was my best friend. She was also an amazing Nanny.
She will be loved and missed forever 💔

Just a quick update..

My mum is still unwell in hospital. So right now, my life consists of being a mum, doing photo sessions, and constant hospital visits. As you can imagine, this is mentally and physically draining.

Because of that, I'm afraid I haven't been able to catch up on much editing. Therefore, I want to thank each client who is still patiently waiting for their finished gallery. I will try my hardest to get them done asap.

And thank you to my clients who have promptly paid their deposits, etc.

It is very much appreciated in this very stressful time ❤️

Just a little update about my life right now.

As I mentioned in my stories, my mum was rushed into the hospital on Friday evening and is seriously ill. She still is.
I am currently spending as much time as I can by her side. So work has to take a back seat. Sessions have had to be rearranged, so thank you to the clients that have been understanding about me rearranging.

But having said that, one downside of having my own business is that I can't just switch off and disappear and take a whole week off. I have enquiries, deposits, and payments to chase up.

So I'm asking very politely that if you are a client who has any outstanding balance, additional images, or deposit payments to pay, please do so as soon as you can. I really don't have the time or mental capacity to chase them up at the moment, but I do have bills that need to be paid.

Deposits for usual sessions are £30 unless it's a cake smash, they are £49. Additional images are £9 each. You can see how many additional images you have chosen in your own favourite selection.
Any sessions for which I haven't received a deposit will be canceled.

Im taking this week off but IF my mum improves I will be back to work next week so i will catch up with all my admin and editing galleries then.

Finally, thank you to each and every one of you who has taken the time to send me such lovely, supportive messages. A lot of them made me cry. I'm very lucky to have such amazing clients 💕

I've had the pleasure of photographing George on many occasions now and while his mum and I were catching up at the start, he went and got into position ready and waiting. Such a perfect little model 💚

Birthday sessions are a really great way to get some updated photos of your little one for their birthday! They can be themed or kept super simple. The choice is yours.

At the moment, i have extremely limited availability for the remainder of the year. Therefore, booking in advance is absolutely essential to ensure you don't miss out.
