It's always such a privilege to be asked to be someone's wedding photographer- to get to be there on a couple's favourite day and produce the photos they look back on to remember the day, always means so much.

A more technical course this time, using strong contrast between light and shadow for a Film Noir shoot at Bassetlaw Museum.

Jenny was an amazing model and the group produced some incredible images (not so easy narrowing it down for this post).

We focused on controlling a single light source, adjusting angles and positioning to shape the scene. Props like the Venetian blinds helped to bring about the noir style.

We were lucky enough to be inside the stunning setting of the museum, getting to use the Georgian staircase and rooms, adding to the look.

An amazing session with everyone getting hands-on with a very beautiful photography style.
