James Trusler Photography Nature photographer based in Northamptonshire In 2008 I wanted to take up a new hobby and decided I wanted to try photography. Many thanks for your interest.

Not long after buying my first camera, a Sony A350 digital camera, my hobby turned into a real passion which has continued to this day. With a Diploma in the practical and theoretical studies of photography I have knowledge, passion, experience and, more importantly, an eye for a great picture. I have fine tuned my skills into the landscape/nature genre and regularly combine my passion for the gr

eat outdoors with my love of photography. Some of my photographic achievements to date include multiple pictures printed in local newspapers and having an image feature in the Environment Agency's national coastal flooding campaign. I have an extensive portfolio of images featuring many aspects of outdoor photography, the majority of which can be seen on this page. Most images are available to purchase as either canvas, framed or unframed prints.

I’ve taken so many photographs of this tree on the outskirts of St. Crispin as we used to live here before moving to Guilsborough.

I’m working nearby so decided to head up on my lunch hour and say hello. Great to see it still standing and that it hasn’t become a victim of the ever expanding housing estates going up in the area 👏😍

The Northamptonshire Round was definitely up there as one of my most physically demanding hikes yet. The gorgeous countryside made up for it though.

The bottom chafing also behaved itself on this one which is always a bonus 😂
