Let’s do a reintroduction, shall we?

I’m Elliot… but you can call me Patch (or Patchman, or Patcharino if you’re feeling fancy).

Dad of two girls, gym-goer, coffee drinker, and partial to a Gr***de bar or three.

I’ve been shooting weddings for 17 years — over 600 of them — and I still leave every one with that “that was class” feeling.

I love weddings. Properly love them. The people, the energy, the moments you didn’t even realise were happening until you see them back.

I also shoot Formula 1 — which is slightly louder, slightly faster… and probably why if you’re running down the aisle because you can’t wait to get married (or just don’t want everyone looking at you!), I’ll still catch you in focus.

Weddings though? That’s the good stuff.

If you want natural photos, no awkward posing, and someone who actually cares about your day — I’m your guy.

Caswell House was the setting for Ariel and Isabella’s beautiful Jewish wedding. Just a wonderful experience from start to finish — from the emotional ceremony under the chuppah to the joyful hora in the afternoon sun. Every detail reflected their love, heritage, and the joy of bringing two families together. ✨💍

The sun was shining, the party was swinging, and the love was flowing. Stuart and Chrissie celebrated their wedding at The Old Cow Shed, surrounded by all the joy you dream of for a day like theirs. Every generation was ready to party – and party they did. What a celebration! 🥂✨

Back in my home county of Northamptonshire on Sunday after an unforgettable wedding-filled weekend—Staffordshire and Gloucestershire on Friday and Saturday, then finishing strong back home!

The home leg did *not* disappoint! 🙌 Dodford Manor never fails—such a consistently brilliant venue, and one I absolutely love returning to. And Finedon Church? Honestly, it blew me away. Such a stunning place for vows. 💍

All weekend long I was surrounded by the most joyful energy—from guests, families, and of course, the couples. Being able to photograph and film it all (see more at 🎥📸) was such a privilege.

Amy and Tom provided the perfect backdrop and atmosphere—how could it be anything but a perfect day? I think the joy of it all shines through in the images. I hope you love them as much as I do! 🧡

Chaz and Liz tied the knot this weekend and what a day it was 💍✨ The Cotswolds is always a dreamy spot to say “I do,” but Copsegrove Farm has officially made its way to the top of my fave venues list — absolutely stunning!⁠

Beyond the setting, it was all about “them” — two amazing people who just make sense together. Surrounded by a big, beautiful crowd of friends and family, there’s no doubt they’re heading into married life with so much love and support. What a send-off into the next chapter as Mr & Mrs 💫❤️

Conna and Stef got married last weekend at Dodford Manor, marking my 3rd wedding of the year! It was a celebration full of laughs, a stellar confetti canon effort, Jeffrey West shoes and even my questionable German language skills. 😂 Such an unforgettable day!

Couple portraits—who really needs them?

Well, turns out, everyone does! While I’ve been sharing more documentary-style shots lately, I believe couple portraits are just as important.

These aren’t your typical “smile at the camera” photos. They’re real, raw, and authentic moments.

After 16 years of photographing weddings, I’ve learned how to connect with couples quickly—understanding what makes them laugh, feel comfortable, and be themselves. It’s all about creating that space and then capturing it.
