Blue & Mark’s wedding was one of those days that felt completely unique from start to finish.

Nestled amongst the trees, it couldn’t have been a more fitting setting, especially given Mark’s love of the outdoors. Their beautiful pagan ceremony felt incredibly personal and perfectly reflected who they are as a couple.

Like many people, Blue & Mark told me beforehand that they felt a little shy in front of the camera, but honestly, they were brilliant. Relaxed, natural, and great fun to spend the day with. The same could be said for all of their family and friends, who brought so much energy, warmth and laughter to the celebration.

As the evening rolled around, the band absolutely stole the show, keeping the dance floor packed and making sure the party carried on long into the night.

A huge shout-out also has to go to Alex from Stingray Events, who delivered what can only be described as a near-perfect wedding day. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, the styling was stunning, the atmosphere was incredible, and even the weather played its part.

It was a genuine pleasure to be there and document it all.

Let’s do a reintroduction, shall we?

I’m Elliot… but you can call me Patch (or Patchman, or Patcharino if you’re feeling fancy).

Dad of two girls, gym-goer, coffee drinker, and partial to a Gr***de bar or three.

I’ve been shooting weddings for 17 years — over 600 of them — and I still leave every one with that “that was class” feeling.

I love weddings. Properly love them. The people, the energy, the moments you didn’t even realise were happening until you see them back.

I also shoot Formula 1 — which is slightly louder, slightly faster… and probably why if you’re running down the aisle because you can’t wait to get married (or just don’t want everyone looking at you!), I’ll still catch you in focus.
