Commiserations to the Carryduff GAC Senior footballers in their defeat to kilcoo in the Official Down GAA Morgan Fuels & L***s football final. A tough day at the office that will feel raw for the players and management for a time yet, until the hunger returns, the bodies heal and the desire to go again builds. I'm too old and broken to be playing but getting onto the grass to take photos of the players is a great joy, and not a bad replacement for playing. I look forward to seeing the senior footballers cross the white line once again next season. Its been a pleasure this year! Thanks to all the players, management, officials and supporters for allowing me to take their photos throughout this senior championship campaign. Spent a weekend on Rathlin Island recently. Had great craic with friends. Just a shout out to Shore House Rathlin Island, Rathlin Glamping Pods #, bar and Manor House - Rathlin Island. All great spots to stay, eat and drink, with top quality food, drink and friendly people. Highly recommend a trip over for a weekend or the day. Being saying I should vist for years, and now I've been twice in 1 year. Rathlin Development & Community Association
