A beautiful wedding day for T & J

Their ceremony took place with My Cornwall Wedding at Chy Trevail in Bodmin, followed by a wonderful reception at Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club — the perfect setting to celebrate their special day.

Small weddings and elopements are becoming increasingly popular — and I absolutely love being part of these more intimate celebrations 💍✨

Just because you’re planning a smaller wedding doesn’t mean missing out on beautiful, professional photographs. While guests and friends can take pictures, it can be a big ask and takes them away from simply relaxing and enjoying your special day.

I offer flexible photography packages designed specifically for smaller weddings, covering 1, 2, or 3 hours. It’s amazing how much can be captured in that time — all the key moments, without the need for full-day coverage, and at a much more affordable price.

A few images from last year’s weddings 🤍

I’m really looking forward to capturing weddings as we head into 2026. As I also work for Cornwall Registration Service, I now take on a small number of carefully chosen weddings each year.

I currently focus on shorter coverage of around 1–3/4 hours, which is perfect for midweek and smaller weddings — just enough time to capture the ceremony, group shots and relaxed couple portraits.

Another wonderful collaboration with Images by Kelly Oakley for the beautiful wedding of J & C at the stunning The Barn at Pengelly . Storm Benjamin wasn’t going to spoil this wedding! Despite the rain, wind, and even hail, we managed to sneak outside for photos in the sunshine! 🌦️💍☀️

The bridal party spent a lovely morning getting ready in the Glam Room at the venue, with hair by Anna Ingram Hairstylist and make-up by Emily's Beauty Studio Their heartfelt ceremony was led by Laura Rundle from My Cornwall Wedding , before everyone enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by Cornwall Chef

Guests were then treated to an array of quality coffees and teas from Harry at How’ve You Bean , followed later by a tempting cheese cart from Little Eden Entertainment and wedding cake by Jenna from Paulines Creamery Newquay . The celebrations continued into the night with plenty of dancing to the tunes from Good Vibes Inc. DJ services

Not all of our wedding couples choose to share their faces on social media, but J & C were happy for us to highlight the amazing suppliers who helped make their day so special.

We managed to dodge the showers yesterday for Anita and Steve’s beautiful wedding at Oceanside Newquay Newquay — and even squeezed in some lovely photos at Little Fistral!

The heartfelt ceremony, wonderfully led by Claire from My Cornwall Wedding , had many in tears.

A warm and sunny September day set the perfect backdrop for Hannah and Stu’s beautiful wedding at Seiners Arms , Perranporth.

The ceremony, led by the lovely Laura from My Cornwall Wedding ,was both emotional and heartfelt—truly a joy to witness. I had the pleasure of being joined by Kelly to capture every special moment of the day.

A fabulous ceremony for Robyn and Grant on one of the hottest days of the year. The ceremony was conducted by a family friend on the headland overlooking the ocean. The entrance of the bridal party was accompanied by http://cornishhighlandpipers.co.uk. An air conditioned Marquee at Oceanside Newquay was welcomed by the wedding party for the reception. Huge congratulations to them both.
