One of my favourite photographs from a recent evening on Warren Hill 🤍

As photographers, we often talk about documenting milestones.

A growing bump.
A newborn baby.
A first birthday.

But sometimes the most meaningful photographs are the ones that capture the quiet moments in between.

The anticipation.
The connection.
The love that already exists before a new baby arrives.

This beautiful little girl is about to become a big sister, and I have no doubt she is going to be wonderful at it.

I already can't wait to meet the newest member of this lovely family.

A moment of stillness 🌿

I’m starting my week by diving into the edits from last Wednesday’s session.

This view was such a highlight — the way the willow trees sweep over the water felt like something out of a painting. I love finding these quiet corners; they become the perfect backdrop for the unhurried, natural moments I’m drawn to.

I still think about these early days 🤍

There’s something so quiet and tender about the first weeks with a new baby — everything slows down, and yet it passes in such a blur.

I had the honour of photographing this beautiful family when their little one was just days old, and it means so much to know these images are now part of their story.

As I slowly return to photographing newborns, I’m inviting a small number of families to become my Founding Families for 2026.

These sessions are calm, natural and baby-led — capturing those fleeting early days in a soft, timeless way.
