Over the last few weeks I’ve had the privilege of photographing First Holy Communion services for local families here in Newmarket.
Whilst much of my work focused on creating personal galleries for each child and their family, I couldn’t resist capturing some of the beautiful details and atmosphere that made these services so special.
The light streaming through the church windows, the anticipation before the ceremony, the traditions, the architecture, and the sense of community all came together to create something truly memorable.
Photography often gives me a front-row seat to life’s most important moments, whether that’s a family celebration, a milestone event, a business launch, a birthday, or a religious occasion like this one. Every story is different, and that’s one of the things I love most about what I do.
