💐TRIBUTES TO VALENTINA AND NATALIE💐

These are some of the beautiful tributes left at the scene of a devastating house blaze that claimed the life of a 7-year-old girl and her aunt last week.

Valentina Foster and Natalie McDonald, 34, both lost their lives in the fire which tore through a home on Birchington Avenue in Grangetown, Teesside, on Wednesday (AUG 26).

Today, (TUES), Jaden Wright, 23, appeared at Teesside Magistrates’ Court charged with their murder.

He was also charged with two counts of section 18 GBH with intent and two counts of attempted section 18 GBH with intent.

He will next appear at Teesside Crown Court on September 3.

🚨MIDDLESBROUGH A66 CRASH🚓

Seven people including two police officers have tragically lost their lives after a crash on the A66 in South Bank near Middlesbrough in the early hours of this morning.

A police car and Volkswagen Passat were involved in the crash at around 3.39am - prompting a huge 999 response and the road currently remains closed.

Chief Constable Victoria Fuller said: “First and foremost, our thoughts are with the families of everyone involved in today’s incident.

“No one should leave their home and not return safely, including police officers serving their communities and protecting the people of Cleveland.

“This tragic incident will be felt across Cleveland, within our communities and throughout the entire policing family.

“We are providing specialist support to all families involved at this extremely difficult time.

“The investigation has been referred to the IOPC, which is the standard approach when a death occurs following police contact. We will cooperate fully with their investigation.

“While this investigation takes place, we strongly urge people to avoid speculation."

Congratulations to all the students who picked up their results today after years of hard work.

We all remember how daunting it is picking up that dreaded envelope and finding out those important grades!

At Newcastle High School for Girls, pupils celebrated a stellar set of results, with the school achieving a 100% pass rate across the board.

Alexander Tang shared and sold dozens of intimate images and clips on multiple platforms, even connecting his bank details to his account to profit from his offending.

Shockingly, the victim only found out about the violation when men began approaching her claiming they had been speaking to her on dating apps, prompting her to contact police.

Tang had shared a total of at least 47 images, and four videos, which showed the woman in various states of undress, after secretly filming her.

Much of the content was uploaded to OnlyFans, a subscription based website best known for its s*xual content and where creators charge people to access their pictures and footage.

Tang, of Richardson Gardens in Shiremoor, appeared in the dock at Newcastle Magistrates' Court on August 11 for sentencing, after admitting one count of voyeurism.

The court heard that the woman was completely naked in some of the images he shared.

District Judge Paul Currer sentenced Tang to 26 weeks in prison but suspended the sentence for two years.

He was also ordered to pay £1,000 in compensation to the victim, £85 in costs, carry out 300 hours of unpaid work and complete 35 rehabilitation days.

Thomas Brand walked into the William Jameson pub in Sunderland on April 7, and stormed the bar wearing a face covering.

He began to threaten staff, saying “I will f****** kill you”, smashed a Stella glass and ripped the till out of the wall before walking away.

But the 52-year-old was oblivious to the fact that there was no cash inside the till, and was later discovered face down in a nearby bush.🌳

He was arrested and admitted robbery.

Brand, of Hapden Road in Sunderland, was branded a “dangerous man” during sentencing last week and will now spend four years and four months behind bars.

🚨RIVER SEARCH DAY 2🚒

Emergency services are continuing their search of the River Tyne today after the disappearance of a 22-year-old man.

Northumbria Police say Liam was last seen in Wylam, Northumberland in the early hours of Saturday morning.

It’s believed he entered the water after a nearby crash on Wylam Bridge involving a car and pedestrians.

Today, mountain rescue workers were pictured wading through water and around rocks holding search poles.

It is not yet known or has been established how long the search could continue for.
