Getting ready isn't just about hair and make-up. It's about the atmosphere you create, the grandkids playing in the background, the little details of your dress and shoes, and all the moments that make your wedding uniquely yours.

This vow renewal was especially meaningful for Bev & David, with all their children and grandchildren there to celebrate alongside them. By taking the time to get to know them beforehand, I knew exactly what mattered most and could capture those memories naturally as they unfolded.

“We don’t want to be away from our guests all day”

One thing couples often worry about is being pulled away from their wedding for hours for photos.

And I completely get it — you’ve planned this day to spend with your favourite people.

I’ve found the best approach is keeping things simple and relaxed.

We’ll take a short amount of time — around 20 minutes — to create some beautiful portraits… and then it’s straight back to your guests.

No disappearing for ages.
