A note to all my customers who have previously purchased my shows through the Vimeo On Demand platform.
I have today received notification from Vimeo (the 3rd party hosting company) that they are retiring the VOD service.
There are some important dates that you need to be aware of:-
Starting on September 21, 2026:
Customers won't be able to make new purchases or start subscriptions
Between September 21, 2026 and November 20, 2026:
Your existing VOD content will remain available to customers who already purchased it
Your seller account will remain accessible
On November 20, 2026:
Vimeo On Demand will be phased out completely
All VOD listings will be removed
Customers will no longer be able to access previously purchased content
Seller access to VOD will end
I have NO control over this despite paying a substantial amount in subscription to this service and also the commission that they charge for each and every sale.
IMPORTANT!
PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU DOWNLOAD ANY CONTENT YOU MAY HAVE PURCHASED BEFORE THE 20TH NOVEMBER DEADLINE.
Apologies for this, but as stated, this is out of my control.
I am currently exploring an alternative for future shows.
