Easter Monday sunset over Louth, Lincolnshire.

St James' Church, Louth, is the Anglican parish church of Louth in Lincolnshire, England. It is notable for having the third tallest spire in the whole of the United Kingdom, and the tallest on an Anglican parish church.
The church was the site of the start of the Lincolnshire Rising, starting in October 1536 and led by the vicar, who was hanged, drawn and quartered for his actions.

The weather’s been a bit wet lately, so it’s given me a chance to update the boys school photographs. Now they’re in different schools, the only way to capture them together is by doing a bit of DIY at home. It also means a can smarten them up a bit before shooting. They usually look like characters from the Beano comic. Hair all over the place. Bean juice in the chin. Collars half in half out, and with the strangest forced smiles. CHEEEEESE!

I get that’s what school photos are for. Looking back and laughing at how we once were. Especially my own photos, 80’s haircuts were something else, but it is nice to have a few ‘smart’ school photos for the walls. Especially as they’ll no doubt make their way to the grand parents. “Awww look at them!” ☺️

Like butter wouldn’t melt, hey! Yeah right. 😂

It’s that time of the year. 🍁 🍂 📸

We’re very lucky to have the woods on our doorstop in Newbury. Yes, I miss the beaches and mountains of North Wales, but have always loved a good forest! As do the boys!

The colours look amazing as I drive around the local area. It makes a great backdrop for the family photos. 📸👨🏻👩🏻🧑🏻👦🏼👦🏻🍁🍂
