With another heatwave on the horizon (yes, really), one of the most uncomfortable parts of your wedding day can be the group shots.

You’re out in the sun, probably in the heat of the day, and you just want to get it done.

So, from me to you, my tips on how to cope with your group shots in the heat!

☀ Stick to 5-7 shots to keep it simple

📷 Always have a list to work from to keep it efficient

☀ Gather everyone who’s going to be in a photo together at the start to reduce time in finding people

☀ Find some shade - I’ll help with this!

📷 Get your group photos done early so they are out of the way!

Thanking my lucky stars every day that I get to live in such a beautiful place, so close to beaches like these!

Whether it’s a summer beach day with the kids, or capturing a growing family, I love being by the sea.

We’re coming to the end of beach shoot season soon, but I’ll be back next year! In the meantime, my studio and other locations are open!
