My photographs have appeared in magazines such as What Digital Camera and Digital Photographer as well as publications by BBC Books, The Ramblers Association and The Royal Geographical Society. Competition successes include being shortlisted for The Sunday Times Photographer of the Year (2008), Finalist in The Times Great British Summer Competition (2009), Overall Winner of the Trinity House Lighthouse Calendar Competition (2010) and most recently Regional Winner (Wales) in the National Countryside Photography Competition (2011). For anyone considering attending my Snowdonia based landscape photography workshops it may be interesting to know that I have a BA (Hons - 1st Class) Degree in Post Compulsory Education & Training and hold the IOSH 'Managing safely' certificate.

Something a little different from the usual landscapes.... our garden is unusually busy with birdlife this year, which is great to see.... lots of starlings, a couple of blackbirds and a couple of lovely robins have spotted the gap in our shed door and decided to nest in there.... backwards and forwards feeding at the moment so some little ones to follow soon all being well. The female one is especially inquisitive and likes to perch on the top of our rotary washing line
