I decided to go for a nice walk this morning (I took the camera - 'just in case'). Well what a walk it turned out to be! Watched one hare run down the road away from me. Saw it again as it headed into the crop. Walked on and another hare was headed towards me. How she didn't see me standing on the side of the road, I have no idea! She seemed to know something was up as she stopped twice and sniffed the ground and looked hard for me. But she kept on coming - until she was about 10ft from me. I thought that would be the last I would see of her. But instead her leveret met up with her. They had a play and a munch and the leveret come towards me - again no more than 15ft away. I had stood still for so long that I needed to move - this is what ended our encounter. Hope you like the photos. I know most people have seen many photos of Durdle Door (many much better than mine on the day), but however, here are the photos I took on a rather hazy day that we were there.
Also odd to note that there were two Roe bucks that most people passed right by without even noticing they were even there in the field next to Durdle Door....

Its been a very busy and enjoyable day today with the The Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Association's Working Test. This also marked the associations 30th anniversary.
