Earlier this month we restored this old photograph of Watchet.
Extra careful attention was paid to making sure each building was as accurate as possible.
Our customer was thrilled with the result, as were we 😊

A little job we completed last week.
In trying to find out a little more about the photo I learned that goalkeepers in the 1920s wore thick white knitwear to keep them warm and provide a little padding if they had to dive for the ball. Very useful information that helped me decide on the kind of texture the completely faded jumper needed!

We paid very special attention to the faces on this one, utilising several pieces of software to ensure that every individual was true to life.

The chap who bought this one in wanted to get rid of the background but keep the dog as accurate as possible.

We were able to keep a more vintage feel to the image and add lots of detail to the out of focus and poorly lit pooch without changing the pose. expression or unique characteristics that make him him.
