Double Osprey! MAGNIFICENT BIRDS OF PREY!!! Sitting in a boat watching an Osprey nest is up there as one of my favourite birding experiences. 🚤 🦅 😍

I’m counting this as a LIFER. It’s taken me a surprisingly long time to see a Lesser Whitethroat. That said, there are literally less of them than Common Whitethroats and they’re way more shy. Huzzah! 🥳

Seeing Kingfishers fly to their nest, Cranes skulking the fields and Reed Warblers clinging onto… well, reeds. 😍 All in a day’s birding with . We also test out some AMAZING binoculars. Loved it. My SECOND favourite bird. What’s YOUR second favourite bird? 👀 I adore Bullfinches. They not only hold a sentimental attachment from my childhood but don’t they just look stunning?! 😍 And such a gentle demeanour with that little mew call.

I’ve never seen an Osprey dive for a drink before! What a moment this was! And I’m in a boat! We are so lucky to have these amazing birds of prey visit us each summer. 😍

THE DIPPER OF COURSE!!! 🤩 Such a treat to get such a great view of one of our coolest birds here in the UK. The only aquatic songbird yes BUT did you know the nostril thing? 👀 👃 A birding highlight right here!
