Recognise it?! 🤔👇

By late July, it’s unusual to hear much singing from Garden Warblers. But there’ll still be the odd blast!

Most males have stopped singing or are only giving the occasional subdued burst after breeding.

In fact, they’re one of the earliest warblers to migrate back to Africa. Sort of late July-mid August.

So if you’re out birding this week and don’t hear any Garden Warblers, that’s completely expected. They’re often still there but they’re much quieter and far more secretive than they were in May and June.

LIFERS! Andalucia - WOW. 😲 New sights. New experiences and best of all, NEW BIRDS! 🤩

This was my first time in the region of Andalucia and I already can’t wait to go back. The bird life was incredible and I need to go back and soak up what I’ve seen. Booted Eagles, Short-toed Eagles, Crested Lark, Red-backed Shrike, Black Kites, White Storks, Black-winged Stilts, Flamingos, aaagh!

It was a special week. Thank you and . 🇪🇸 ❤️

Guys, I know this is a public TOILET but… 👀

Swallows are about to undertake one of the biggest migrations of any bird and they will nest anywhere suitable they can find but surely these guys’ parents could have found somewhere a bit nicer than this?!
