I’m Nina, mum to 3 crazy boys and living in Bexley Kent/South East London. I am a family photographer, specialising in Black and White photography, and capturing candid and authentic images of family life – both in the home and outdoors in the many beautiful places around. As a mum to 3, I’m very used to children – little and big, (my eldest is about to hit those precious teenage years!!), and I f
ind children soon relax around me. With my documentary style of photography, nothing is stressful, we can happily break for the children to have a snack or to feed a little one - in fact all the better for those candid shots. Having spent many years documenting my boys growing up I have a good eye for a picture and see pictures in ordinary, everyday life. This shines through in my photography with a unique style, and whilst I am happy to produce colour images too, my heart lies with black and white photography which a high percentage of my work will be delivered in. Over the years, I’ve been lucky to be featured in a number of publications including a feature in the Daily Telegraph, who got in touch having found my Instagram feed. More recently I was delighted to be invited to join the Where the Boys are Project, a blog of mums of boys around the world sharing their experiences through pictures of their sons. I offer two types of lifestyle session lasting either 1 or 2 hours. 2 hour sessions see me come to the family home first and spend approximately an hour taking pictures around your home, (these indoor sessions do suit younger children better rather than senior school age), before heading out to somewhere local to you to take some outdoor pictures for the second hour of the session. Alternatively, I offer a one hour session which can be the whole family or just the children if you prefer, and meeting at an agreed outdoor location local to us both.
