Why are test shots so important when filming in a new location?

Because what looks good to your eyes doesn’t always look good through the camera.

Test shots help you check:
• Lighting and shadows
• Camera angles and composition
• Audio issues or echo
• Colour balance and exposure
• Background distractions
• How the location actually feels on screen

They save time, reduce mistakes on shoot day, and help you walk in with a clear creative plan instead of guessing.
