You know what’s also kinda chic? Actually liking a photo of yourself. Revolutionary concept, apparently. 🤯

My favourite kind of client books nervously, spends the first few minutes apologising for being “so awkward”, then forgets to be self-conscious by minute 10 because we’re having far too much fun. That’s the whole trick, really. Camera shyness isn’t a personality trait, it just needs the right person behind the lens.

So if you’re brilliant at what you do but you’ve been hiding behind one good photo or some „meh“ selfies since roughly 2022, come say hi. We’ll go gently, and yes, you’re actually allowed to enjoy it.

And remember that hating photos of yourself is not a life sentence, it’s just a lack of the right photographer. 📸

Just don’t…. 🤔🙆🏼‍♀️📸

A good shoot isn’t about knowing how to pose. It’s about feeling safe enough to stop performing.

Most people put off booking photos because they’re feeling not good enough or are scared of being perceived.

Scared they’ll do it wrong, freeze up, not know what to do with their hands and somehow end up with worse photos than the tired selfie or the outdated headshot they’ve been using for years now.

But what’s actually worse than that? Nothing. Because you’re already not showing up to your potential. You’re already not telling people about your business or at least not in a way that helps it reach the people who need you.

A good shoot should be a space to muck about, try things, get it a bit wrong and laugh about it. No rigid checklist, no formal nonsense, no tilting your chin seventeen degrees while you slowly die inside. Just room to experiment and actually be yourself.

Because when you feel comfortable, safe and you feel seen, being in front of the camera stops being a performance. And that’s when you get amazing photos that actually look like you.

Been „meaning to sort your photos“ for months? Consider this your nudge. ✨

I’d also love to know what’s the thing that’s been stopping you from booking photos? Tell me below. 👇🏻

I get texts like this after almost every shoot and I still get a little emotional about it 🥹📱

Every single one of these fab female business owners turned up a bit nervous, some more than others. And that’s completely normal, nobody rocks up to a shoot feeling like Zoolander reborn with zero apprehension. But they trusted the process and they walked away buzzing with a bank of images they LOVE and that actually look like them.

That’s the bit people don’t expect. It’s not just nice photos. It’s the moment you scroll through, get super excited and go “oh... that’s actually me” instead of wincing.

I’m off on holiday tomorrow, August has just a couple of spots left and September is already filling up. If you’ve been sat on this for a while, now’s a good time to stop sitting and start moving. 😉

DM me or comment “VISIBILITY” and I’ll sort you out with the details. 📸💜

And we’re back! 🥳🤳🏻📸💜

Content & Connect is returning this October and spaces are going fast!

I announced the new date to my waiting list first and 3 out of 5 spots are already gone (with a 4th being potentially gone by the end of the day). 👀

If content has been sitting on your never ending to-do list since… for forever and a day… this is your chance to finally get it done.

Here’s what you’ll walk away with in just one cosy day:
🎥 Reels + B-roll filmed (with me guiding you every step)
📸 Two brand new headshots you’ll actually want to use
👯 Accountability + new business pals (because content is easier with company)
🥗 Lunch + coworking space included (no hangry filming here)
💬 2 weeks WhatsApp support after, to keep the momentum going

The details?
📅 Friday, 9th of October 2026
📍 Hammersmith, London
💸 £250 | Only 2 spots left to claim

This isn’t about polished perfection. It’s about consistency, connection and showing up as you, all while having fun.

If I see one more small business owner giving themselves a red card, I’m gonna scream louder than England winning the World Cup 🫠

None of this is your fault. You’ve just been conditioned to think “it’ll do” is good enough, when actually it’s what’s keeping people scrolling straight past you.

Swipe back through and be honest. Any of these hitting a little too close to home? 👀

Tell me your worst red card offence in the comments, I promise you’re not the only one 😅

Hot take: you don’t need to know how to pose. 🙆🏼‍♀️

(Also it’s hot and it’s a take… 🔥🎬

Posing exists to sell a jumper or a lipstick. It’s built for product placement, all about the item looking good, not showing of the personality the model wearing it. That’s not what a personal branding shoot is for.

Your shoot is about YOU. What you’re like, what it’d feel like to work with you, why someone should pick you over the fifty other people doing what you do. None of that comes from a pose. It comes from you being relaxed enough to actually show up as yourself.

So no, I’m not going to hand you a list of poses. I’m going to get you comfortable, let you experiment and guide you when you need it. That’s the job. Trying hard to look perfect just reads as, well, trying hard (and impersonal).

Wanna NOT pose with me? Comment VISIBILITY below or DM for more info. 📸💜

I’ll sort my photos and videos when I feel more confident” might be the biggest lie founders and small business owners tell themselves.

Once I’ve shifted the weight. Once the business feels legit. Once my skin’s sorted. Once I’ve basically become a whole new person, then I’ll let someone point a camera at me.

Except confidence doesn’t work like that. It’s not the thing that shows up first. You show up first, a bit terrified and the confidence turns up later, usually around photo forty when you realise you haven’t actually died.

I’ve shot thousands of people who swore they were the least photogenic human alive. Every single one left surprised by how much they liked what they saw.

You don’t need to arrive ready. You need someone who makes “ready” unnecessary.

If you’re waiting for a more confident version of yourself to turn up first, she’s not coming. But I can help you feel like her anyway.

Save this for the next time you tell yourself you’re not ready and follow for more of the truth about how showing up online as YOU can help you grow your business. 💜

I’m doing something scary… 👀🫣

I said yes to the Yap Challenge by and my body’s reaction to filming myself talking has been somewhere between mild dread and full internal alarm bell 🚨

This isn’t me chasing 10k followers or trying to go viral. That’s not the point.

It’s that I spend my working life telling clients to get comfortable being seen, and I can’t keep saying that from behind a camera, safely tucked into my usual B-roll and carousels. So for the next 6 weeks I’m doing the uncomfortable thing on purpose, because the reward for doing scary things is rarely just the scary thing itself. Sometimes it’s confidence. Sometimes it’s just proving to yourself you can.

We’ll see how my nervous system feels about all this by week 6.
