Beautiful place. Terrible night to be caught outside! ⚡⛈️

There’s something strangely beautiful about a tropical thunderstorm at night. Lightning tears across the mountains, heavy rain lashes the palm trees, and a quiet path glistens under the warm glow of the little cabins.

The contrast between the peaceful lights and the wild storm is mesmerising. I’d love to sit on that porch and watch the lightning roll in, with the sound of rain all around.

But would you dare walk down that path alone? 🌧️

I animated this peaceful Jiangnan water town scene to bring the lanterns, golden osmanthus and still water to life. Traditional Chinese architecture, autumn colours and soft reflections create a quiet moment that feels almost timeless.

Some places make you want to slow down and simply stay a little longer.

What if the machine looked back at you?

There’s something about this one that feels almost alive. The glowing eyes, exposed machinery and human form make this humanoid robot feel strangely real. I wanted the animation to feel like a glimpse of a cyberpunk future where the line between human and machine is starting to disappear.
