Hands up if you or your kids are ready for Back To School?! 🙋🏼‍♀️

For me, it doesn't seem 5 minutes since the kids broke up for summer...despite not doing an awful lot the last 6 weeks! We've very much got used to a slow morning though and I'm definitely going to miss that...the bickering not so much 🙃

It's a mixed bag in our house for the boys; one is definitely not loving the idea of school starting again but two are quite looking forward to going into their final years at their respective schools...I'm not ready for that 🥹

As Back To School sessions are finishing up (last day of them is tomorrow 🥹) and I am starting to send out galleries I am feeling so very grateful for the families that choose me to capture this time.

It doesn't seem 5 minutes since I photographed big sister Elodie as a newborn or big brother Dexter's 1st birthday cake smash so to now see little sister Violet sitting on the table, trying to sneak an apple, knowing I will blink and it'll be her in the uniform makes me feel so happy to be the one who gets to celebrate all of these milestones! 🍎

I love being part of your child's journey (especially when I have been photographing them from very young) and even more so when families grow and I get the opportunity to pop those little family members into their big siblings school photos too!

2026 was officially the year to be back at the sunflowers at for the first time since 2023 and it was just the most gorgeous experience having the field to ourselves 🌻

I've got plenty more of these to share before we hunker down and start embracing Autumn but for now I am re-living the warmest evening spent among the sunflowers with these two gorgeous girlies! 💛

I've known this little babe since she was around a year old and still had to work hard to gain her trust in a new setting! I loved finding ways to help her feel comfortable so I could capture those gorgeous little smiles and the beautiful bond between her and her lovely Mummy too 🥰

I went down memory lane again!

It's been a gorgeous day seeing some of these little faces. These are the faces of lots of little ones that had another Back To School session today, or will tomorrow or next week :) Plus lots of new little school starters too, most of which I've photographed as newborns 🥹

I do love taking the time to offer these sessions every year and make sure families have those milestone school photos that aren't rushed and truly show the personalities of their children. Here's to the class of 2026/27! 🍎

I'm sure the kids only broke up from school a few days ago...so how are we shooting Back To School sessions already?! 🥹

I couldn't resist a little look back at last year's sessions for some of the gorgeous faces that visited me today to see just how much they can change in one year! 🤯

I am very lucky to see lots of the same families every year but also families that choose to book for their child's first year starting school and then I see them again for siblings starting school, it all goes too fast! 🍎

Those beautiful expressions show these sisters' stunning blue eyes off to perfection!

It was so lovely to see big sister Aria back in The Cabin as the last time I photographed her was when she was little sister Lilah's age and she was the perfect sister - absolutely besotted!

Aria very much enjoyed being my assistant for their shoot too and even photographed her first ever 'baby' during the session (a piece of artwork in The Cabin)! I can't wait to share the rest with this lovely family, so many gorgeous little faces! 🥰

The bond of sisterhood was a magical one to capture at today's newborn session with these three little beauties 🤍

My first time photographing these gorgeous girlies and they helped to create lots of special memories for their little sister that this wonderful family can treasure.

I can tell these three will be thick as thieves already and can't wait to capture them more as baby Poppy grows and develops her own little personality...I have no doubt she will be just as fun-loving as her big sisters 🥰

She wasn't awake for much of her newborn session today but the tiny window she was I made the most of it and loved this little moment of perfect eye contact she gave the camera 😍

Only 11 days old and already has such wise eyes and was such a sleepy, smiley girl too so best of both worlds. She visited me first a few weeks ago in her Mummy's tummy so it's even more of a joy when I get to photograph so much of a family's journey this early on 💕

I'll be sharing much more from this beautiful girl's session I'm sure and can't wait to send her gallery to her wonderful parents soon 🥰

This smiley boy had so much fun at his cake smash today that there wasn't any cake left at the end of it...and he did it all himself!

He wasn't keen on the taste (and I have the most hilarious photos to prove it) but that didn't stop him repeatedly trying it just in case 😅 so he set about smashing it to bits instead! Mason's Bakes. did such a great job of creating a vegan masterpiece complete with orange spikes to match Oscar's shorts too!

This gallery has so many gorgeous smiles and funny faces in it not to mention some very sweet moments with his big sister (who was the total opposite at her cake smash a couple of years ago)! I can't wait to share more 🦖
