Bringing the sunshine to a dreary day with this gorgeous yellow...a colour I'm not asked for often but when I am it always looks so beautiful! 💛

A gorgeous newborn session today for this little lady, she took her time settling in for a little sleep and I made the most of both her awake time and when she finally gave in for a little bit! 🥰

I do love being in The Cabin when it is raining, chatting the day away with a lovely family and getting lots of baby snuggles - best 'job' in the world! ☀

If babies could talk during their newborn sessions I'm sure this is what this little man would be saying to me 🫣

I do love to go all out on the family photos but he handled it like a pro as there was always going to be plenty with a big sister, two big brothers and two incredible parents! 💙

I may have done a little squeal when this gorgeous boy arrived in The Cabin this morning and I saw all of that stunning hair!

This looks like such a simple portrait but often getting babies settled into it is much less simple and is usually a combination of some very important elements...warm air, a baby shusher, understanding positioning babies to ensure they are comfortable and a lot of patience!

I just adore how sweet and settled they look when everything comes together and this little man had the most perfect feet/toes for it as well...and don't even get me started on those squishy lips! 🥰

Dreaming of one day being the ballet star her big sister is on her way to becoming 🩰🎀

I met baby Maeve's wonderful Mummy at a class when my Daughter was 6 months old and I'm so lucky that we have become close friends since. Our daughters' are little besties, bonding over their love of ballet, so I knew I wanted to do something extra special for little sister's newborn session 🥹

One custom ballet outfit with matching baby ballet shoes later and I couldn't have been more thrilled that Maeve let me pose her like this 🥰 when she is a Prima Ballerina I've no doubt this will age beautifully 🩷🩰

The first ever Pet Pawtraits in The Cabin couldn't have been much cuter!

We had chickens, a puppy, cats, a guinea pig and plenty of pooches and, I don't want to jinx it for future sessions but, not a single accident! 🐾

I've learnt a lot doing these sessions - the main lesson being that a bit more time is needed to create a calmer environment that our furry friends can relax in so when I do these again I'll be making them slightly longer to capture all the cuteness!

Thrilled to have booked in a new Mama for a maternity session in July today and it got me wondering why this part of the baby journey is so often the one to be skipped 🥹

I've had 4 babies, I get it...there's so much to do to prepare for baby's arrival, not to mention work and life demands happening at the same time but let's encourage all the pregnant Mamas we know to slow things down, have the photoshoot and take some time to capture it all properly 🥰

This gorgeous girl was so sweet for her session today and even brought with her two big sisters who I have been photographing for the last 6 years 🥰

I just adore personalised and meaningful items and love finding ways to incorporate them into sessions to make images completely unique and this stunning blanket made the perfect backdrop!

I'll no doubt be sharing more from Amalie's session...with a full day's session we have a gorgeously huge gallery for the whole family to enjoy! 💕
