What truly defines success?

Is it money, big house, sports car or a wall of awards?

For me it is having a business that is sustainable enough that you can take quality time with my family and create memories.

For the first year ever I really feel like I've struck a good balance with work and family.

August has been packed with highlights
😍 Family Holidays
🏕️ Camping with friends
🚴 Mountain biking
🏇 Horse riding
🏄 Paddle boarding
🍰 Baking (the kids have made some amazing GF bakes!)
🏖️ Beach days
🌲 Forest walks
🙌 Client days
💪 Onboarding new clients
📸 Networking

But please don't be under any illusion that it hasn't been challenging.

Let's keep things real, this is the 3rd time I've tried to create this post while battling bickering kids.

The summer break also helps refine some essential skills like
✅ Snack based negotiation
✅ Conflict resolution
✅ Domestic MasterChef improv
✅ Chaos containment (my neighbours may disagree)
✅ First Aid (it's not a summer with us if we don't have a trip to A&E)*

Lincoln network we need you!

Our judo club, Cherry Judo, is taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon aiming to complete in just 24 hours to raise funds that will help them take judo beyond the dojo and into the wider community. Supporting younger children, SEND participants, schools, specialist settings and older adults through safe, structured, judo-based activities.

But they need one last piece to make it happen.

Their original transport has fallen through at the last minute and they're urgently looking for a local partner who could support them by providing a 16‑seater minibus from 31 July–2 August.

Can you or anyone in your network support them by providing a minibus in partnership or at a reduced charitable rate?

They’ll cover fuel, return it spotless and give full public recognition across social media, GoFundMe, challenge content and local press. Giving the recognition you deserve for supporting this incredible challenge.

If you’re a Lincolnshire business who believes in community, connection and helping others rise, they would love to hear from you.

In case you were hiding under a rock (which was probably the best place) June was a tad warm.

Anyone else not mind the heat?

I spent last week on location with two amazing brands. Including an afternoon on the beach. Which really didn't feel like work.

June has been packed with so many different things;

This month I've been very spoilt.

If you know me, actually if you've ever met me, you'll know I love being at the beach.

This month I've been 3 times with work 🤩 much to the dismay of my beach babies as they weren't invited. (Well Olly did get a beach trip during his work experience 😆).

Sunday afternoon we took a road trip out to the coast. And it was just what we needed.

This is the first social media post I've ever written so bear with me.

So I thought I'd start this off with a quick intro. My name is Olly, and for the past few days I have been doing work experience with Natural Aspect.

One of the main things I have learnt is that It's who you know, not what you know.

While I attended my first networking event yesterday I talked about what I would like to do in the future. Two people on my table revealed that they knew others within Rolls-Royce, where I would like to have a job in the future. They came back to me that same night with advice from their connections at Rolls-Royce which meant a lot to me as a 14 year old work experience student.
