The house feels so sad and empty today with the return to school officially upon us. It was far too quiet and lacking in joy. Paul and I didn’t entirely know what to do with ourselves without the little whirlwind pinging around bringing sunshine and excitement. Honestly - the first day of term is not our fav, but new chapters are exciting (I’m hoping..!)

The summer has zoomed by, and we’ve finished our alphabet with Z day - obviously a trip to the zoo 💛 Whilst there we zig-zagged our way across a treacherous bridge (which wasn’t very zenful!) and caught some Zzz’s laying in the crocodile house. We zipped over to visit the sloth who had so much zest for life. The firm fav was the toucan however 💛 What a gorgeous summer - genuinely blue to give him back to school tomorrow.
