🐾 Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

Today is all about celebrating the dogs who make our lives better simply by being in them.

The crazy ones.
The cuddly ones.
The stubborn ones.
The ones who never sit still for a photograph… 😂

And the ones who have somehow become such a huge part of our family that we can't imagine life without them.

As a dog photographer, I'm lucky enough to meet so many amazing dogs and capture what makes each one unique.

Because that's what I love about photography. It's not just about a beautiful picture.

It's about capturing their personality, that look, that expression, that little bit of mischief - so you have something to treasure long after the moment has passed. ❤️

We never know how many years we'll get with our dogs, but we can make sure we have beautiful memories of the years we do have.

So today, give your dog an extra cuddle, take far too many photos, and celebrate just how special they are.

Just look at this gorgeous French Bulldog!

Narla is a girl who knows exactly what she likes… STICKS!

🐾 Reggie

14 weeks old and already a natural in front of the camera!

This beautiful Cocker Spaniel joined me for a photoshoot at Chambers Farm Woods near Wragby, with the woodland and long grasses providing the perfect setting.

Those little puppy features and personality made this one a very special photoshoot. ❤️

🌊 Water can be great fun for our dogs... but it can also be dangerous.

I saw this morning that Dogs Trust is reminding owners to stay safe around water, and it's a message worth sharing.

Whether you're at the beach, a lake or a river:

🐾 Be aware of strong currents.
🐾 Avoid letting your dog jump into unfamiliar water.
🐾 Watch for blue-green algae, especially in warm weather.
🐾 Never throw a ball into dangerous water.

Our dogs trust us to keep them safe, so it's always worth taking a few extra precautions.
