Another epic wedding shot!!

I was with Emma & Ben on Saturday. They chose to have a church wedding, taking place at St Matthew's Church in Meerbrook and their reception party at their business, The Roaches Bunkhouse, just outside Leek.

Documenting their day was great fun, and it felt more like I was working for friends, since I already knew them through previous work and was friends with some of the family.

I especially enjoyed their portrait session at the base of Hen Cloud and their confetti shots - in particular, capturing the remaining confetti left in the basket being thrown over them as they exited the confetti line-up (Check pics below!!)

I was back in the High Peak area, Derbyshire, over the weekend. In the beautiful village of Combs, to photograph Ellen & Ben's wedding held at Combs Valley Campsite.

From when I initially met with Ellen & Ben, I knew that they wanted their day to be relaxed and not overly focused on strict timelines. Their wedding is one of the most relaxed I've photographed this year - it was lovely, and it suited the overall vibe and location.

Their family and friends all chipped in to help bring their day together, from table decorations, gifts, and plants to their uncle cooking the BBQ for 70+ guests and then DJing later on - it really was a family affair and brilliant to see.

They went with an outdoor wedding, private vows, which was lovely to capture. We also managed to chase golden hour in a nearby field where we ended their portrait session; the light was stunning!!

On Sunday I had my second wedding of the weekend with Ellie & Charlie, who were married at The Ashes Barns Wedding Venue & Country House Accommodation in Endon, Staffordshire.

Another cracking day! with blue skies sitting over the rustic charm of the converted barns at The Ashes. E&C are such a lovely couple; they were great fun, and I really enjoyed capturing their day.

Standout for me was instead of a 1st dance, Charlie played his guitar and sang a couple of songs for Ellie; it was a great moment!

Ellie & Charlie, thank you for including me in your wedding 🙂

It was a busy weekend! Two weddings back to back.

Starting with Arshia & Annabel, who celebrated their wedding on Saturday at Annabel's mum's home in Chapel-en-le-Frith.

A mix of British and Indian traditions (The indian side mainly celebrated the day before)

The setting was beautiful and the perfect space for everyone to enjoy A & A's wedding. The day was so fun, and I loved capturing that aspect, aswell as the families meeting and our portrait session on Eccles Pike - This location is amazing! Just take a look at the pics!

Arshia & Annabel planned such a fun, relaxed wedding, which included garden games, meal games like pass the parcel, stunning BBQ food and pizza for the evening - summer vibes at its best.

A & A, thanks so much for having me as your wedding photographer and for showing me Eccles Pike......which I'll definitely be revisiting.

Claudia & Jonny's wedding on Saturday was epic! From start to finish, their wedding personified happiness and love.

They put so much effort into transforming Hamps Hall and Barn, in Staffordshire, into what felt like a mini festival. It was well laid out and made the best use of the space available to them.

We had incredible weather, gorgeous blue skies all day, and not too hot like the past few days have been.

If there is one wedding that, in my eyes, was the perfect collaboration between the couple and the suppliers, it was this wedding! A real sense of everyone going above and beyond to deliver the ultimate service - it was pure class!

All brought together by Keri Louise Weddings, who did a fantastic job as C&J's wedding planner.

Great to work alongside Ryan Murrell Videography again - between us we smashed this one out of the park, and some!!!

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of photographing Julia & Will's wedding held at Horton Village Hall in Staffordshire.

Their wedding was epic! They transformed Horton Village Hall into a music festival. As musicians who actually met through their art, keeping music at the heart of their big day was a must.

It was lovely to capture their first married-couple performance during the wedding. They are both super talented, and hearing them and all the other musicians was a real treat.

Their wedding was action-packed, and I've really struggled to put my usual 15 previews together - just too many good moments to share. One thing I will say is check out the golden hour shots at the end of this post!!!!

Tomorrow I'm looking forward to photographing Will & Julia's Filipino-English fusion wedding held at Horton Village Hall and Licensed Wedding Venue. ST13 8PU.
