We know that embracing the elements isn't for every couple, but we are so glad that Kate & Tom were willing to stick it out and brave the rain with us for this show-stopper moment.

Across many cultures, rain is considered a symbol of abundance, bestowing blessings upon the newlyweds, a fresh start for their new chapters. It's a testament to your ability to weather any storm, and the type of experience you don't forget quickly.

We had a blast with Kate & Tom, pivoting to ensure we captured their group shots inside, utilizing the ambient space and rustic decor to capture those key moments, before heading out to ensure that we gave them their spotlight moment.

The story of your wedding is told through countless moments, some you're laughing in, some you're crying in, some you're not in at all.

Here, the anticipation, a bride to be with her accessories, gown and shoes waiting to be worn.

We had the great pleasure of spending our last Saturday wedding in October with Kate & Tom, and while the weather presented it's challenges (as the great British weather often does), the pair didn't miss a beat in capturing the love they shared in Woodstock's gardens.

This is why I keep an eye on the sky, even after we’ve done your couple photos.

Antonia & Lee at Wharfedale Grange. Blue skies earlier in the day, then this sunset later on. Had to make the most of that!

Same wedding, a completely different look. It’s knowing where to put you and how to light you that makes it work. You don’t need to worry about any of that — that’s my job.

Can’t promise you a sunset, but if we get one, we’ll make the most of it.
