Being a part of this wedding felt really quite special 🥲
Watching and capturing the love between Olivia & Morgan and their nearest and dearest was just magic 🥹 Olivia was the most beautiful bride, and the whole day was just perfect from beginning to end.
And, well… Mabel gave me ALL the baby fever 😆🥺 How bloody gorgeous is she?!
Thank you SO much for entrusting me to be a part of your day. 🥹❤️ I won’t say that I haven’t loved photographing weddings in the past (because I really do, and it is always the biggest, biggest honour), but there was just something about this day that really ignited my love for it all over again 🥲

In a world where comparison is easier than ever, it’s so easy to get caught up in what your wedding should look like.

As photographers, we see it too. The pressure to create the perfect image … the pressure to make everything ‘Instagram worthy’ and, as couples, the pressure to have the wedding that looks like everyone elses on some level.

buuuuuut, here’s the thing. Your wedding was never meant to be content.

Be the ones who have their wedding for them. The ones who stop worrying about how it looks and start thinking about how it feels. The ones who are fully present.

Cry without worrying about your photos!!! Dance until your feet hurt … let your wedding be messy, beautiful, emotional and completely yours. Our jobs as photographers should be to capture the beauty and magic of JUST THAT! 🥲

✨Olivia and Morgan’s day felt like the perfect backdrop for this message. A day full of nothing but love, laughter, and real emotion. Editing them felt like being there all over again. More to come from this gorgeous gorgeous day, but, I felt this message to be Important 🥹❤️

It’s very out of character for me to be so eager to post a session, especially a wedding 😆 butttttt ….. I couldn’t not ❤️

Hester booked me over 2 years ago now. I told her I’d only just began shooting weddings and she booked me anyway. She took a chance and we’ve chatted ever since. So, yesterday really truly felt like I was photographing a friend’s wedding 🥲

Every detail of this wedding felt deeply personal to the both of them. From getting ready In Hester’s family and childhood home surrounded by her sisters, friends, parents and the family dogs. The gorgeous colourful bridesmaids dresses, the bunting made by hand, the designs by her sisters, the pearls Hester was wearing gifted by Bens nan. Honestly just pure joy, colour, and magic from start to finish. 🥹✨

My favourite moments captured are always the ones where I’ve sat back and let things happen. I’m not directing, I’m noticing and waiting.
The ones where, just for a minute, the little ones forget I’m there and get wrapped up in playing with dad. The little hugs out of nowhere that make you forget the chaos of the morning. The open mouth kisses. The love that you can feel through the screen.
This little family always bring all of that. It’s just fun, a lot of love and a lot of laughs.
The fact that Katie and Joe got engaged literally days after this shoot and immediately text ‘WHEN DO I BOOK YOU IN?’ Is just everything 😆🥹 the biggest honour to be able to take a step In and have a part In families lives 🥹☁️
