Join us later this year in one of South Africa's best locations for epic wildlife and photographic opportunities! Taking place in dry season, animal activity should be at its highest (especially around waterholes where we hope for interactions) and the cooler weather means more consistent sightings throughout the day.

All inclusive trip starting and ending in Johannesburg, promising a small group for an exclusive and intimate experience for those looking for a wild adventure with a touch of luxury.

Limited spaces and availability, so simply get in touch for more info šŸ˜Ž

The cape buffalo is an intimidating animal - large, aggressive and often found in large herds. Their weakness, however, is not sticking together and being spooked into running - especially in smaller herds. When they stand their ground in a group they are impregnable, where even two working together are enough to drive a pride of lions away.

Did you know that cheetahs start reproducing at a young age ( 1-3 years old in males and 20-23 months in females), can mate anytime of the year, and have the shortest gestation period of all the big cats? However, many cubs don’t survive to adulthood due to predators and lack of genetic diversity that makes them more susceptible to disease - they are Africa's most endangered big cat and more than 90% of them have disappeared since 1900.

The light was just beginning to soften as the sun dropped behind the hills, turning the dust in the air into a glowing haze. Out of that golden light came this white rhino moving steadily along the ridge, and right beside her, the small but determined figure of her calf trying its best to keep pace.

For a wildlife photographer, scenes like this are a reminder that it’s not always about dramatic action. Sometimes it’s about quiet stories. A mother leading the way. A young life learning the path.

In the silence of the evening bush, with nothing but the sound of their footsteps and drifting dust, it felt like witnessing something timeless.

Stormy skies aren’t always what people hope for when heading out on safari, but for photographers they can be a gift.

Clouds add depth, texture, and drama to a landscape in a way that clear skies simply can’t. As storms build and light breaks through gaps in the cloud, landscapes can transform completely, with shifting shadows and beams of sunlight creating incredible scenes.

What might initially seem like ā€œbad weatherā€ can often lead to some of the most spectacular views and memorable photographs. Sometimes all it takes is patience - and a sky full of clouds.
