🚗💨 From Weybridge to Lisbon — 3,000km of pure motorsport magic.
I had the privilege of capturing the 2026 HERO-ERA London to Lisbon Rally from above at the end of May, and the views did NOT disappoint. Classic cars threading through the French countryside, tackling the Pyrenees into Spain, winding through the hills of Galicia, and finally rolling into Lisbon all during a European heatwave. Every single day was a different landscape and a different story.
Shot over 10 days. Edited down to 60 seconds. Another amazing rally with 🎥🏔️

Classic rally cars….300+ miles of Manx roads….Unexpected sunshine….And trying to capture it all. 🚁🎥

From a filming perspective it’s a fast-moving challenge — staying mobile, planning locations, capturing the story from both the ground and the air as the rally unfolds and turning around edits quickly at the end of each leg.

I’ve compiled the three leg films into one highlights edit.

A short highlights edit from last weekends in Shropshire. According to the forecasts we were in for another wet Summer Trial but somehow we managed to skirt the deluge until after the chequered flag had been waved. A close fought battle right to the end with a 1968 Renault 8 Gordini finally claiming victory 🏁🎬🎥

Heading home from an exhausting but amazing Peking to Paris rally. 12 countries, 15,264km and we’re back in the UK. Finished the final edit from the road last night covering days 35-37 so here it is, there might be some photos over the next few days, lots to work thru! 😊🏁🎥

Peking to Paris days 32, 33 & 34 saw us crossing from Bulgaria to Romania to Hungary and into Austria. After a night in Salzburg we are on the road again, briefly dipping into Germany before ending up in Switzerland tonight, tomorrow, France and the final 2 days of this epic adventure for 2025! 😊🏁🎥

We’re into the final week, ticking off countries on a daily basis now! Yesterday from Bulgaria into Romania, today we’re into Hungary and tomorrow we’re heading for Austria.
This edit covers the journey from the Turkish capital of Ankara via Istanbul to Bulgaria’s capital Sofia, which was the location for our final non travel day before the rally rolls on to Paris 😊🎥🏁
