Photographing musician Griogair Labhruidh around the most epic of locations in Scotland. Glen Coe is spectacular whichever direction you turn. We spent a day trying to outrun the weather, and ruing the fact that enough smidge doesn’t exist.

Not long before this session Griogair was in the studio for a session to work on his album cover which I’m excited to share when it’s released.

This was a fun photo session with personal trainer in the baking sun. Not sure he was loving all the ‘just one more time’ but it worked out pretty nicely I think!

Have you seen these around?

This was a fairly unusual one. Shot alongside my old pals and wonderful people at on a very last minute basis, covering for some illness.

I was in the middle of another job, shooting during the day, and travelled back to Glasgow on successive nights to shoot this in the evening.

Full embracing the tech, to have Oscar, who would have shot this, on a live feed viewing images as I shot them, in my ear at the same time. Remote collaboration that until very recently wouldn’t have been possible.

A great concept, and great final output. I was delighted to play a role in helping bring it together in the weird circumstances.

The shoot itself was an NHS winter vaccination campaign which ran in doctor surgeries and pharmacies around Scotland.

Glasgow 2026

The Commonwealth Games are back in Glasgow this Summer and I had the great pleasure of photographing the volunteer, staff & officials uniforms for their launch last month.

It’s been so nice to see the amazing response to the uniforms. Some great throwback inspo in the design.

We had a very Glasgow morning shooting these, arriving to perfect blue skies and running from apocalyptic rain minutes later. A great team of subjects and G26 crew as well that made for a fun and smooth shoot.

I love so much getting a peek into the spaces where artists create their work. They’re so often full of character and the personality that makes its way into what we see as the ‘product’

One of the most powerful opening bands I’ve seen in a long long time.

In December 2003, way before the Hydro existed, I got tickets to see Feeder at its predecessor SECC, because this amazing new loud sweaty band with a weird name were supporting, who I’d seen in a tiny room, maybe Barfly, it’s lost to memory? The idea of seeing them in a huge room was a bit wild. Biffy smashed it that night.

23 years later (🤮) they’ve moved next door, added some production and now bring in their own epic support.

So aye, get down early.
