After dinner I always try to take some more couple portraits. I usually find it to be a more relaxing time. All the stress has been taken away as the speeches are done and it’s always nice just to take 10 minutes as a couple away from everyone just to reflect on how the day has went so far. I never really go into it with a shot list, I prefer to see how the moment feels and allow you and your partner to be yourselves in that moment.

Heather and Andy on their engagement shoot at Loch Lomond. I absolutely love doing these shoots before the wedding as it gives us a chance to get to know each other better and allows you to get used to having your photograph taken before the wedding day. I think they are completely underrated and I will be trying to do a lot more this year. It helps create a strong connection between myself and couples.
